Although both this class and Developing Children’s Musicality focused primarily on pedagogy and curriculum used in teaching elementary general music, we also discussed the practical and logistical aspects of running a successful classroom. Part of our ongoing discussion included writing an early reflection regarding our perceptions of classroom management and then later writing another reflection about how our perceptions had changed, especially in terms of thinking of classroom management as “classroom leadership.”
